HEA STEM (Built Environment) Event

CIC is running a FREE workshop designed to provide a two-way vehicle between built environment sector higher education and professional representatives. It will aim to address the changes impacting from higher education policy and funding and the substantial inter-disciplinary issues resulting from Government growth and environmental policy and changes in industry professional practice.
The workshop will focus on inter-related issues and changes arising from HE and industry policy. The need for this interchange initially arises from earlier work undertaken between the built environment HE community and relevant Sector Skills Councils (SSCs).

As these change factors need to be progressively absorbed by the higher education community, this event will enable a refreshed, immediately relevant dialogue between the built environment industry and HE communities addressing consequent issues of recruitment, curriculum change, forms of provision and interaction with industry.
