Construction Youth Trust has produced a film that features students from Small Heath School, South and City College Birmingham, and Aston University Engineering Academy taking part in the charity’s three day Budding Brunels programme. The project was supported by Network Rail and the students had the chance to interact with a range of construction industry professionals, visit the £600m New Street Gateway redevelopment and apply for work placements with Network Rail – 5 of which took part in week long placements with the company. The course was hosted by the University of Birmingham and the Westwood training Centre.
