The Construction Industry Council (CIC) is the representative forum for the professional bodies, research organisations and specialist business associations in the construction industry.

Committees & Panels

CIC has established and developed a number of committees and panels over the years. CIC has developed these committees and panels over time to address various subject areas within our industry, some have been established for many years progressing ongoing issues such as Health & Safety, Liability and Diversity & Inclusion. Whilst others have a shorter life span in response to current short term issues which require a collective response.

Our committees create policy, they debate, investigate, promote and report on a range of industry initiatives and issues which are designed to educate, assist and enhance the work experience for employees, employers and professionals in the sector.  

The CIC Regional Committees help facilitate the sharing of current themes, concerns and priorities at a local level and provide a vehicle for feedback to policy makers and are vital in facilitating communication within the industry at every level.
