Greater Manchester Chamber’s Construction Summit

More than 300 delegates are set to attend Greater Manchester Chamber’s Construction Summit this year. The event will give attendees the chance to connect with some of the biggest names in the industry, as well as providing them with a unique opportunity to discuss the latest developments in the region and across the UK construction sector.

The summit, which is in its fifth year, will be focusing on the topics below with keynote speakers followed by a panel debate, short round table discussion and audience questions & answers.

  • Panel 1 – Client Requirements, including new procurement route - keynote speaker Simon Gorski, MD of UK Regions at Leadlease

  • Panel 3 – Greater Manchester Housing Deal and the construction skills shortage - Sponsored by Wates Construction - keynote speaker Andy Burnham, Mayor of Greater Manchester
    Panel Members include;
    Mark Slocombe, CallisonRTKL/Mark Farmer, Cast Real Estate & Consultancy/Prof. Peter McDermott, University of Salford/Laing O'Rourke

The full day event will be Chaired by BBC Presenter; Andy Crane.

There will also be the chance for delegates to take part in 3 workshops repeated during the day.
