Placemaking and a new urban agenda – property and planning perspective on mayoral elections

Terrace Pavilion
The House of Commons
Westminster, London

With the London Mayoral Elections just weeks away, the hot topic for all of this year’s field of candidates is building more homes. Much has been written by the industry and commentators on how this should be delivered across the Capital, but what are the candidates saying about this challenge and the wider delivery of quality within our built environment?

On the 19th April Barton Willmore and Irwin Mitchell are joining forces with Oliver Colvile MP and the APPG for Excellence in the Built Environment, in bringing together a cross section of the industry and politicians to review and debate the Mayoral manifestos, as they currently stand, and see where we believe there are gaps.

We are hoping that the informal ‘Tea on the Terrace’, with Brandon Lewis MP, Minister of State for Housing and Planning giving an opening speech and over 200 guests from across the London development industry as well as political sphere, will offer a great networking opportunity to all the guests.
