Eighth Happold Medal Lecture to be given by Keith Clarke CBE

Keith Clarke CBE, former chairman of the Construction Industry Council (2008-2010), will give this year’s lecture and become the eighth recipient of the prestigious Happold Medal Award, which is awarded jointly by the Construction Industry Council and the Happold Trust.
Established in 1998, the Happold Medal Lecture is held in memory of the CIC’s first chairman, Professor Sir Edmund (Ted) Happold, the founding senior partner of Buro Happold.
Keith Clarke CBE, a former CEO of the global engineering and design consultancy, WS Atkins, as well as Government Advisor to Qatar, Board Member of Future Forum, Honorary Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering and the Brunel Lecturer for the Institution of Civil Engineers, has been for many years in the forefront of promoting carbon neutral infrastructure.
Construction professionals, especially young representatives from across the construction industry are welcome to attend this free event. However, as numbers are limited, early booking is essential.
