Marketing Yourself Effectively: Making the right impact on future employers

This event has finished

The ‘Marketing Yourself Workshop’ is a FREE one day course developed by the Construction Industry Council in response to the rising number of recession hit construction professionals who either have been made redundant or who have recently graduated and are unable to find a job.

Course content
The aim of this one day programme is to help delegates explore and understand their ‘innate’ abilities, strengths and motivations, and how to communicate these strengths clearly and comfortably to prospective employers.
The course will introduce methods of better understanding of the delegate’s natural strengths and explore ways by which these strengths can be articulated.
Subsequently there will be sessions on ‘how to make CVs work effectively’ in addition to exploring ‘good interview techniques’.

Eligibility
This course is open to recent construction graduates who have not been able to enter the professions, and built environment professionals who have found themselves unemployed due to redundancy.
The Workshop takes place on Tuesday 15 September 2009 9am to 5.30pm at:
Construction Industry Council, 26 Store Street, London, WC1E 7BT
Places are limited. Deadline for application – Tuesday 1 September 2009.
